15 and 16 Weeks Pregnant Update.
15 and 16 Weeks Pregnant
Hi Everyone, time flies when you are pregnant with your 3rd child – is what I am learning this time around!
This photo was taken 12/14/19 before Christmas and I am now posting this update in January 2020! (and I have another photo to share later too).
At this point in the pregnancy, I was still feeling nausea, the symptom that characterized my first trimester. It was starting to lessen at the point at which this photo was taken but faded ever.so.gradually.
It’s amazing how this being my 3rd, I started showing early on in the pregnancy and it was not long until I was maximizing my roomier clothes.
I haven’t felt like wearing makeup much, my skin would get so dry during the first trimester – so many symptoms this time around were really pronounced.
One thing I wish, was that I had craved healthier food….it was all salty, sweet, sour, even fast food at times…luckily (spoiler alert) that trend has done a 180 in my 2nd trimester (thank goodness!). For those first few months, I avoided green veggies (made me nauseous) but now I am running to them.
One thing I have noticed during this pregnancy is that I have just wanted to stay home a lot, I get tired easily.
I know a lot of what I wrote sounds bad perhaps? It feels very good to have a space that I can write down my experience, perhaps my kids will want to read it someday!
This all true to my experience and I know those symptoms are all reminders of a beautiful thing that’s happening and for that, I am so, so grateful. It’s magical really. Every night I feel centered when I go to bed knowing how lucky I am. I have been trying to just enjoy this pregnancy as much as I can because it’s probably my last (being 37 and all and since we already have 2 kiddos!). Until the next update!
PS. In the photo, I am wearing a black dress from my friend’s company Kerisma Knits – they are wonderful! I will be sharing more of her clothing on my lifestyle IG profile @preppyroots – follow me there for more lifestyle/family stuff:)
