Caprese Pizza

This Caprese Pizza is topped with ripe tomatoes, fresh basil, sliced mozzarella and drizzled with an olive oil-balsamic dressing. Make this homemade pizza for a bistro dinner at home! (makes 2 individual pizzas or 1 large pizza)

Instructions

  1. Prepare pizza dough according to the tutorial in "How To Make Pizza Dough" recipe tutorial (search in the search bar) How To Make Pizza Dough
  2. In a bowl or wet measure, mix the dressing ingredients ( Italian seasoning, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and Italian seasoning).
  3. Spread tomato sauce over the pizza, tomatoes, Mozzarella, and then fresh chopped basil. Drizzle with the dressing (1/2 the dressing if making 2 pizzas or all of it if making 1 large pizza). How To Make Pizza Dough
  4. Sprinkle with Kosher salt and fresh ground black pepper.
  5. Bake on a parchment-lined aluminum baking sheet or pizza stone for 15-20 minutes or until crust is golden. When it's done baking, allow cooling for 5 minutes after removing it from the oven before slicing. Enjoy! How To Make Pizza Dough
