Chocolate Crinkles

These Chocolate Crinkles have a subtle chocolate flavor and just the right amount of chew. They are made with coconut oil and chocolate (unsweetened cocoa).

I love this recipe because it makes a bunch, nearly 4 dozen, depending on the size you make them, so you can give some away to friends (if you want).

INGREDIENTS

– 1/2 cup coconut oil, room temperature, solid – 1 2/3 cups granulated white sugar – 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract – 2 large eggs

In a large bowl, using a handheld electric mixer, cream together coconut oil, granulated white sugar, and vanilla. Consistency will be grainy or sandy because the coconut oil should be at room temperature.

Step 1:

Add 2 eggs and then unsweetened cocoa powder to the coconut oil mixture.

Step 2:

In a separate bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and Kosher salt.
