Preparation: Rinse the dried green peas under cold water and remove any debris. Set aside.

Saute: Set your Instant Pot to 'Saute' mode. Add olive oil and sauté the onions, garlic, carrots, and celery until they begin to soften, about 4-5 minutes.

Pressure Cook: Add the rinsed green peas, broth, bay leaf, salt, and pepper to the pot. Stir well to combine.

Set the Instant Pot to 'Manual' or 'Pressure Cook' mode on high pressure for about 15-18 minutes. If you prefer a smoother texture, go for the longer cooking time.
