Instant Pot Mashed Potatoes is by far, one of the most no-nonsense ways to make mashed potatoes with one of our favorite kitchen appliances, the Instant Pot!
Pressure Cook the Potatoes: Place the prepared potatoes in the Instant Pot, pour the water in, add 1 tsp of salt, cover, set the valve to "sealing", and manually set it to cook for 8 minutes.
Mash the Potatoes:
When the potatoes are done cooking, allow them to depressurize naturally or use the "quick release" valve. Uncover and drain the potatoes.
