Combined the pork shoulder (thawed, not frozen) in the slow cooker with all the ingredients (except hamburger buns). Cook on high for 5-6 hours or low for 8 hours.

Halfway through cooking, remove the pork shoulder to a large plate and using 2 forks, split the pork to separate the meat until it's all separated.
