This Café au Lait recipe is hot, full-bodied, delicious and so easy-to-make! It has equal parts espresso (or strong-brewed dark roast coffee) and hot whole milk or half-and-half.
Ingredients
– 1/2 cup espresso – 1/2 cup milk or substitute the same amount non-dairy/dairy-free milk
Add espresso to a large bowl-shaped mug, like a latte mug, add the hot milk, and stir.
If you want to make a smaller or larger size, just keep the ratio of espresso/coffee to milk in a 50:50 ratio.
