Cook the onions: In a large wok or skillet, over low-medium heat, add regular olive oil and toasted sesame oil.
Add the minced garlic and chopped onions, and a pinch of salt, a just a pinch of 5-spice seasoning blend, saute until slightly browned and caramelized.
When they are done, using tongs, take them out and put them on a plate or bowl, and set aside until later when you will add them back into the stir-fry to combine together.
