Stovetop Chicken and Onions

This Stovetop Chicken and Onions is a family dinner recipe stable. It has chopped chicken, onions, and is stir-fried with flavors and seasonings of garlic, soy sauce, 5-spice seasoning, olive oil, and sesame oil.

INGRIDIENTS:

– 1-2 yellow onions, sliced – 2 tablespoons regular, olive oil – 1 tablespoon roasted, sesame oil – 1/4 teaspoon 5-spice powder

Cook the onions: In a large wok or skillet, over low-medium heat, add regular olive oil and toasted sesame oil.

Add the minced garlic and chopped onions, and a pinch of salt, a just a pinch of 5-spice seasoning blend, saute until slightly browned and caramelized.

When they are done, using tongs, take them out and put them on a plate or bowl, and set aside until later when you will add them back into the stir-fry to combine together.
