These Dragon Fruit Rice Krispies Treats are a fruity and fresh take on a classic rice cereal treat bars recipe.
– 3 tablespoons salted butter, You can substitute the same amount of unsalted butter if you don’t have salted butter – 6 cups puffed rice cereal (like Rice Krispies brand cereal)
Place wax or parchment paper in the 8x8x2 or 9x9x2 pan and clip the edges with binder clips or clothespins so it doesn't move.
In a large pot over the stove, on low heat, heat the butter until melted, add the marshmallows (add 1-2 cups extra for chewier bars) and stir slowly until melted.
Add 1-2 teaspoons Dragon fruit powder depending on how dark you want them, make sure it's evenly mixed and then add the rice cereal and mix until combined.
