If you do any baking, you may need at one point or another, to make an egg wash. There are a few variations on an egg wash but it’s basically a whole egg, stirred and mixed with either water or milk or cream.

– 1 whole egg, stirred

– 1 tablespoon water or milk or cream

In a small bowl, add 1 whole egg and 1 tablespoon water and whisk to combine.

Using a silicone pastry brush, brush it onto the baking recipe that you need it for.

NOTES

You can use the egg wash right away or store it, covered in the fridge until you need it. Use the same day.
