Vegan Golden Milk Smoothie

This Vegan Golden Milk Smoothie recipe is a spiced, non-dairy treat with turmeric, fresh ground black pepper, ground cinnamon and Silk Unsweetened Almondmilk!

2 cups Silk Unsweetened Almondmilk

Ingredients

– 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper

– 1 teaspoon ground turmeric

– 1/2 teaspoon ground Saigon cinnamon or 1 cinnamon stick finely grated

On the stove top, in a small-medium saucepan, over low-medium heat, pour 2 cups milk, add turmeric, cinnamon, ginger and honey or maple syrup.

When the mixture is at a simmer, remove the saucepan from heat.

Add 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and stir in(optional). Allow the liquid to cool a few minutes (just so that it's not boiling hot).
