1 cup fresh mint leaves, stems removed

1 cup hot water

1 cups sugar

Ingredients

 In a heat safe large mason jar, add the mint leaves, pour hot water over the leaves.

When it's done steeping, strain out the leaves and pour into a storage container.

Allow to cool to room temperature (about 30 minutes) and then cover with a lid and transfer to the refrigerator.
