PEANUT BUTTER

Do you love Peanut Butter?  We are sharing a tutorial on How to Make Homemade Peanut Butter from scratch using your food processor and simple pantry ingredients.

Have you ever made your own homemade peanut butter before? It’s so worth it and you can customize the flavor exactly to you liking!

PREP TIME: 15 min

– raw, shelled peanuts or roasted – kosher salt (or sea salt or Himalayan salt) – peanut oil or other oil – Wildflower (or any mild-flavored) honey or other sweetener

INGREDIENTS

COOK TIME: 1 hour

OPTIONAL MIX-INS: – cocoa powder – ground cinnamon – semi-sweet chocolate chips – Hazelnut Spread

Toasting the Raw Peanuts: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. On a parchment or silicone baking mat lined rimmed baking sheet, spread the nuts out and toast in the oven for 5-10 minutes, stirring them half way. 

To Make the Peanut Butter: In a food processor, add the peanuts, optional honey and other optional ingredients and processor for about 1 minute. 

Stop to scrape down the sides, process for another minute. Taste and adjust flavors as needed and process for another minute. When it is done to the consistency that you like, scrape out into a lidded container.
