Blueberry Iced Coffee
Hi Everyone, I have a great summertime (or anytime you have the craving) iced coffee recipe for you: Blueberry Iced Coffee!
It has (my homemade) blueberry syrup recipe added to coffee mixed with half-and-half (or light cream) to make a special, sweet, and delicious Blueberries ‘n Cream iced coffee concoction!
Ingredients
- 8 ounces chilled coffee or cold brew coffee
- 1/4 cup half-and-half (or light cream, if you prefer)
- 3 tablespoons blended blueberry syrup, or amount to taste
- plenty of ice
- optional: garnish with fresh herbs like mint, basil, thyme, sage
Kitchen Tools
- coffee maker
- measuring spoons and cups
- tall glass or large mason jar
- stirrer or long spoon
- straw
- ice maker
How to Make Blueberry Iced Coffee
- In a tall glass or mason jar, add the blended (no lumps) blueberry syrup, add ice, add the chilled coffee, and then add the half-and-half. Adjust the flavors as needed. Add a straw, add any optional fresh herbs to garnish, and enjoy! Also, you can leave the syrup “chunky” if you prefer, although, I think most people would prefer a smooth syrup. See notes for a blended frozen version.
Recipe Notes
- Blended Frozen Version: Add all the ingredients listed in the recipe to a blender and blend it up, serve in a tall glass or mason jar with a straw, enjoy!
