Hi Everyone, it’s white asparagus season! I see them in the produce section of the grocery store.
I love preparing white asparagus using the air fryer. Why? Because it’s simple, with few ingredients, and FAST.
White asparagus shines so well on its own and it doesn’t need much because it’s a great ingredient to start with.

Ingredients
- 1 pound of fresh, white, in season White Asparagus, woody ends broken off/trimmed
- 1 tablespoon regular olive oil
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon fresh, ground black pepper, for serving
Kitchen Tools
- Air Fryer
- Large mixing bowl
- tongs, for mixing
- serving utensils
- serving platter/plate
How to Make Air Fryer White Asparagus
In a large mixing bowl, add the washed and trimmed asparagus. Drizzle the olive oil over it, sprinkle the onion powder, garlic powder, and kosher salt, and toss until the asparagus is fully and evenly coated with the ingredients.
Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F. Lay the prepared white asparagus in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook for 7 minutes or until they are golden.
Transfer the cooked asparagus to a serving dish and serve hot. Serve the asparagus with fresh, ground black pepper (amount to taste), and enjoy!
