Air Fryer Beet Chips
Hi Friends, beets are so good for you and this is a great way to eat a full serving (or several, usually in my case) of beets in one sitting.
These Air Fryer Beet Chips are partly inspired by Terra Beet Chips.
I love those beet chips and they are so good.
Ingredients
- 3 medium-large size beets, peeled and sliced thin (I use a mandolin slicer)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil, regular
- 1/8 teaspoon Kosher salt
- fresh ground black pepper

- air fryer
- mixing bowl

- pepper grinder

Air Fryer Beet Chips
Air Fryer Beet Chips are a savory, healthy snack made right in your air fryer. Enjoy these as a potato chip alternative and a tasty way to get all those healthy nutrients that beets have to offer!
Ingredients
- 3 medium-large size beets, peeled and sliced thin (I use a mandolin slicer)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil, regular
- 1/8 teaspoon Kosher salt
- fresh ground black pepper
Instructions
- Peel beets and then slice the beets with a mandolin slicer *make sure to use the guard and stop before the end of each beet, the blade is sharp!
- In a medium-large bowl, add the sliced beets, add the olive oil, salt, and pepper, and mix until coated.
- Add the sliced beets in a single layer in the air fryer basket, set the air fryer to 300-320 degrees, and cook for 15 minutes turn over, cook for another 15 minutes, and turn and continue to cook, checking every 5-10 minute intervals until done. *they will shrink a lot and be careful not to let them get brown/burn them.
