Easy Crock-Pot Turkey Chili with Egg Noodles
Hi Everyone, I love chili recipes because they are so customizable, easy to make, and very satisfying.
I love to load it up with plenty of cheese, fresh chopped parsley, and a whopping dollop of Greek yogurt (healthier option) or sour cream.
This Easy Crock-Pot Turkey Chili with Egg Noodles recipe came about from needing to break out the Crock-Pot while our kitchen renovation is going on.
I use McCormick Mild Chili Seasoning Mix (Case of 12)“>McCormick Milk Chili Seasoning Mix (30% less sodium) for this recipe. Of course, you can substitute your favorite chili seasoning mix in the same amount.
Yeah, you don’t always have to make everything from scratch!
I made this recipe with egg noodles because it goes so well but you can substitute it for any other pasta or even rice or quinoa.

It’s the perfect amount to feed a crowd for a dinner gathering, game day or picnic or if you just want a meal to stretch.

Ingredients
- 1 pound lean, ground turkey meat, You can substitute the same amount in lean ground chicken or beef
- 1 28 ounce (1 lb. 12 oz./794g.) can diced tomatoes, WITH liquid
- 1 medium red or yellow onion, chopped
- 1 15.5 ounce can dark red kidney beans, drained
- 1 1.25 (35 g) ounce packet chili seasoning mix, I use McCormick, mild, 30% less sodium but you can substitute your favorite chili seasoning mix in the same amount
Noodles and toppings, for serving
- 1 16 ounces (1 lb./454 g. ) package egg noodles, cooked as per brand’s package directions, can substitute your favorite pasta, rice, or quinoa
- kosher salt, to taste
- fresh ground black pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon Italian or curly parsley, for topping per serving, optional
- 1 dollop plain Greek yogurt or sour cream, for topping, optional
- 1-3 tablespoons cheddar or mozzarella cheese or your favorite cheese, for topping, optional
- fresh chopped red or yellow onion, for topping, optional

Instructions
- Combine all ingredients for Easy Crock-Pot Turkey Chili in Crock-Pot/slow cooker, cover and cook on HIGH for 4 hours or on LOW for 6 hours. 2 hours in, stir and break up the lean ground turkey into smaller pieces. Serve over cooked egg noodles with toppings and enjoy!
Notes
You can also brown the lean ground turkey meat in a skillet before putting it in the Crock-Pot/slow cooker for more flavor.
