Grilled Carrots
Hi Everyone, keep your kitchen oven off and fire up the grill to make these grilled carrots! They are a tasty way to make carrots because they have char from being grilled and a slight sweetness to them from the cooking process.
You can eat and enjoy them on their own, have them as a side with a meal or make them for use in another recipe.

Ingredients
Here is a list of ingredients for this recipe:
- 5-6 carrots, skinned, ends cut and cut in half
- 1-2 teaspoons regular olive oil, or amount to taste, you can drizzle more olive oil for serving
- 1/2 teaspoon fine salt, or more to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper, optional, for serving
- Optional: drizzle of low-sodium soy sauce, amount to taste

Grilled Carrots
These Grilled Carrots are easy to make with only 3 required ingredients: carrots, olive oil, and salt. They are a tasty way to enjoy carrots during the warm weather months right on your grill! Additionally, you can customize them with your favorite seasoning and optionally, drizzle them with soy sauce.
Ingredients
- 5-6 carrots, skinned, ends cut and cut in half
- 1-2 teaspoons regular olive oil, or amount to taste, you can drizzle more olive oil for serving
- 1/2 teaspoon fine salt, or more to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper, optional, for serving
- Optional: drizzle of low-sodium soy sauce, amount to taste
Instructions
- Prep the carrots: Spray regular olive oil evenly over the carrots, then sprinkle fine salt over them. Toss the carrots to coat evenly if you need to.
- Grill the carrots: Preheat your grill to high heat. Using tongs, add the carrots to the grill, leaving space in between them. Cook for 7-10 minutes (covered), then open the lid and turn over and cook an additional 7-10 minutes more or until they are tender. The cooking time will depend on the thickness of the carrots and your particular type of grill. When they are done enjoy it as a part of a meal. Optionally, season with your favorite seasonings, salt, and pepper, amount to taste and drizzle soy sauce on them.
