It happens every year, we get the first few sunny, hot days and we bask in the sun, drinking it up like we have been shut-in all winter (which we have, by the way).
Then, at the end of the day, we come into the house and realize we have farmer's tans and ouch-y shoulder tops.
Every year, I see it coming and forget, as if, subconsciously, I am trying to get a sunburn.
Let me tell you, people, sunburns are over-rated and downright dangerous.
Why not bask in the sun, like a #boss, smartly protecting your skin because it's the only God-given skin you got in this life and that's worth protecting!

These are my favorite sunglasses and I never leave home without them.
I have had these for 3+ years now and they are really a staple in my wardrobe.
The fashion choices are endless here.
I am always loving fedora-type styles. People always look put together when they have a hat on and so stylish.
I have this tightly woven straw hat with linen detail in my hat collection and will be rocking it this Summer vacation.

I remember the day this photo was taken, I was sick from too much sun exposure, I recovered in time for dinner (of course, no surprise there!) but that was a good lesson in skin protection.
