How to Make Grape Jelly Meatballs
(The full, printable recipe is at the bottom of the post)
Step 1:
Make the sauce: In a medium saucepan, over low-medium heat, add the chili sauce, grape jelly, chili powder, and soy sauce. Using a whisk, stir the mixture until completely combined and smooth. Bring the sauce to a low simmer and then remove it from the heat.
Step 2:
Cook the meatballs: In the crockpot/slow cooker, add the frozen, cooked meatballs, and pour the prepared sauce over the meatballs. Using a large wooden spoon, stir the meatballs to coat them with the sauce. Set the crockpot to high, cover with the lid, and cook for 2-3 hours or until the meatball are hot throughout and the sauce is bubbly. Partway through cooking, make sure to stir the meatballs, to ensure even cooking. When they are done, serve them from the crockpot or plate them on a serving platter with party toothpicks and have the sauce in a bowl, for dipping. Alternately, you can serve the meatballs on skewers. Enjoy!
