Corrected! Thank you for letting me know!

Do you bake the brownie mix together with the cheecsecake portion?
Sara says
The brownie layer is spread evenly first and then the cheesecake layer is spread evenly over that and then they are baked together - does that answer your question? Let me know if there's anything else I need to clarify 🙂
Rosalee says
Yesss thank you sooo much ☺️☺️
Mel says
Are the strawberries baked in or added after?
Sara says
Hi Mel, I added them before the whole dish went into the oven, if you wanted to add them after you could do that too. Hope that helps!

My cheesecake is dark brown on top..Edges look almost burnt. I followed the recipe and turned it 1/2 way through baking. Don’t think I can take it to my church luncheon tomorrow. The recipe also overflowed in my oven from my 9x13 glass pan.
Sara says
Hi Sandi, I’m sorry that you had trouble with this recipe, for the future I would recommend doing a foil tent if it’s browning too much. Another fix is if the rest of the Cheesecake is okay, you can scrape the browned part off and frost the top and add berries. Also, with this recipe a at least inch pan is ideal. Thank you for coming back and commenting!

have you tried making this in a spring-form pan at all? I love the bar idea-- I am just particular to the standard cheesecake look!
