Hi Everyone! Mother's Day is coming up on Sunday, May 14th for 2017. What do you have planned to celebrate and show love to the mom in your life?
I have a great idea for DIY Mother's Day Care Package to make any mother feel special. It's filled with happy memories in the form of photos, in our case, I filled it with framed photos from our Easter visit to my parents. The framed photos are surrounded by pretty tissue paper and a special Hallmark Signature card which I got at Walmart.
I always love to send hand-written cards or notes to friends and family members and I think that's especially important in this digital world. Why? Because it's more special, tactile, pretty and creates a nice experience for the person receiving the card and gift. That's something my mother taught me 🙂
You can pick up Hallmark Signature cards at Walmart in the cards section. They have so many to choose from at Walmart and I am really picky about cards but I was really pleased with many in the selection. I also picked up a Mother's Day card for my Mother-in-Law too.
It doesn't take much to make this DIY Mother's Day Care Package!
Gather your materials:
Materials
Step #1
Put tissue paper in the bottom of the box.
Step #2
Put photos in the frames, gift wrap, if you chose and wrap in bubble wrap.
Step #3
Write a thoughtful note to your mom!
Step #4
Package it all up!
If your mom lives closer and you don't need to mail it, you can just bring the box over to her for Mother's Day.
I hope you enjoyed this DIY Mother's Day Care Package, tell me your Mother's Day plans! Happy Mother's Day to all the Mother's out there ❤
