Check out Our Hiking Trail and how we snack on the go with Gerber® Lil’ Beanies(TM) in Original and White Cheddar & Broccoli! #GerberWinWin
We live on a mostly wooded, 5 ¾ acre property and we have been working on a hiking trail for the past few weeks. My husband Eric has been doing most of the clearing and our brother-in-law Colin comes over sometimes to help with it too after they get out of work. My daughter M. and I have been been "helping" by being supportive and walking the trail to view progress!

Making this trail has been something Eric has wanted to do at our property since we moved here over 2 years ago before M. was born. He loves to mountain bike and we love to hike as a family on a weekly basis and we feel so fortunate to be able to walk out our door to hike right in our back yard.

I personally love the woods and have always felt "sheltered," restored and nurtured by nature and trees. Nature is a constant creative inspiration and I want to instill that love of nature I have in my daughter too.
I learned that Gerber® Lil’ Beanies(TM) are made from the of navy beans, Lil’ Beanies(TM) has 2 grams of protein (9% Daily Value) and 1 gram of fiber per serving. Also, Lil’ Beanies(TM) is baked, not made with genetically engineered (GM) ingredients, naturally flavored and has a taste my toddler loves.
They come in 2 varieties:
● Gerber® Lil’ Beanies(TM) (Original)
● Gerber® Lil’ Beanies(TM) (White Cheddar & Broccoli)
I get Gerber® Lil’ Beanies(TM) at my local Walmart in the baby food area. I love that they are made from navy beans, it's refreshing to see an alternative snack that I can feed my daughter.

Gerber® Lil’ Beanies(TM) are really tasty, I know because I always try anything that my daughter eats and I found myself loving them too! They are easy to take along in a small container or snack bag for easy snacking on-the-go.
We always bring snacks when we venture out to playgrounds and playdates and Gerber® Lil’ Beanies(TM) are a food that my daughter is always in the mood for.

When we have my daughter's snacks with us, then we can enjoy our time doing whatever we are doing - be it hiking or another activity. No more having to make stops or go back home to eat, it's easier to be prepared and have something with you in case the kiddo gets hungry!
Bringing a little bag of snacks, like Gerber® Lil’ Beanies(TM) with us on our hiking trail or anywhere else means more time being together, as a family, doing what we love.
I would love to post updates as more work Eric does on our hiking trail, stay tuned for that 🙂
I have been posting pictures here and there on my Instagram feed and also on my Snapchat (follow @lifeslilsweets).
