These are GREAT tips!!! We take long distance trips aaallll the time, too, but you actually have some I hadn't done yet (like filling up the car the day before--duh!) Snacks and drinks pre-bought from Sam's are a Must for Sure though!! Also I LOVE New England. We got to spend 3 years on and off in Boston, MA and I fell in love with the whole region. So gorgeous! If the cost of living wasn't so high we'd move back up again in a heartbeat (in Texas now!)

My daughter and I used to travel a lot for her sports matches when she was in high school, and your tips are sooo on point.
