YUM! I've always wanted to try this method with bananas. Gotta give it a whirl! Love all the FoodieMamas recipes this month. 🙂

My son loves banana ice cream! One of his favorite Daniel Tiger episodes is about making it 🙂 We've never turned it into such a delicious looking sundae though. On the to-do list for next weekend!

Hi Lucy, glad to hear there are more Daniel Tiger fans out there! This is a great activity to do with kiddos!

I've tried this 4 or 5 times to satisfy my 5yo. Nope I fail Everytime. It looks like a frozen frosty not ice cream and it always looks like brown mushy bananas. What am I doing wrong. I only have a blender but I do it on a pulsing speed very slowly. My 5yo loves the flavor though and especially after he covers it in chocolate syrup and sprinkles.

Do you put it back into the freezer to firm up? It won’t exactly be like ice cream but similar. It also will depend on how ripe the bananas you are using. It will be softer the more ripe the bananas you use.
