Hi Everyone, how are you keeping up with your resolutions?
Would prepping food ahead for the week be one of them?
If so, you have to try preparing Hard-Boiled Eggs!
It’s one of the easiest ways to add some protein to your meal planning.
Ingredients for Hard-Boiled Eggs
- 12 large eggs (vegetarian fed)
- water for boiling, enough to cover the eggs
- 1 tablespoon Kosher salt, for salting the water, optional
Kitchen Tools
- pot for boiling
- slotted spoon
- timer
- mesh colander
How to Cook Hard-Boiled Eggs

- Fill a large pot with water, add optional Kosher salt and add 12 eggs to the water (if the post is too small, you can cook the eggs in batches), bring the pot of water to a (rolling) boil. Once they are boiling, turn the heat off and remove the pot from the heat. Cover and let stand for 14-17 minutes.
- When the time is up, drain the eggs and rinse with cold water. You can also put them in a bowl of ice to cool them. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Remove shells when you are ready to eat them or to use in a recipe.
