Hi Everyone, I am sharing my honest review of Hello Fresh.

Hello Fresh is a meal delivery subscription service.
It delivers boxes of meals each week.
In my Hello Fresh boxes, they pack 3 meals per box.
You control how often you get boxes or if you want to skip a week.
You can give them feedback via reviews on what meals you liked and didn't like.
They try to use minimal packaging to transport the boxes to save on waste.
Some might argue that there's a lot of packaging but I think it's a wash for the convenience of what the service is and the flipside is that, depending on what you buy, there's also packaging when you buy groceries too.
This past January, I got some Hello Fresh coupons in the mail and they came just at the point when I was feeling very burnt out in the kitchen.
We often make the same things all the time and having specific meals to try seems appealing to me.
It eliminates the number of choices I have.
Another upside is that I don't have to go to the grocery store to buy my food which is convenient as a mom of 3 kids under 6 during a pandemic!
During this time, I make most of the meals for our family of five and there's a lot of particular tastes in our house which multiplies the number of meals that I make per meal!
I have seen many other food bloggers share meal planning subscriptions on social media and also have friends and family that use them and I have always been curious to try them out for myself and my family.
I figured why not finally try them and share my experience on the blog with readers?
If you have been on the fence about Hello Fresh or another meal subscription service, maybe this might push you in one direction or another.

I am glad that I tried Hello Fresh.
Nothing can beat delivery of pre-portioned meals to your door, short of hiring a personal chef!
I think they can continue to reduce their packaging amounts.
There was a recent Hello Fresh meal where it was a Gouda Burger and they forgot to include the cheese!
So far, that's the only time that's happened.
Will I continue with Hello Fresh?
I haven't cancelled it but I won't do it every week - I am a food blogger after all and tend to make our meals from scratch 99% of the time.
Having them delivered once in awhile - I can see that, perhaps when I have a large work load and am having trouble juggling making dinner.
I can see how people can get hooked on these dinners.
I have found myself modifying the dinners 50% of the time but that's just something I tend to do, always modifying recipes to suit our needs.
I did like several of the dinners, especially the pork dinners and beef dinners.
I would also try other meal subscription services.
