Living Room Update - The LLS family recently updated our Living Room with a new sofa set this past March 2017 (29 photos!).
Estimated reading time: 11 minutes

Hi Everyone! I've been sharing a lot of Kitchen Renovation updates recently (my last one being about our new tile floor) and I didn't want to neglect updates from the other parts of the house.
These photos are in no particular order.
I just want to give a little tour of our living room.
Since I took these pictures in March 2017, we have ripped out the tile in the kitchen area which you can see in some of the photos below and we also moved the industrial pantry shelves that we've been using in lieu of cabinets.

Be sure to follow along with my Snapchat and Instagram stories because I will post regular blog/kitchen/home/garden updates there, as they happen.

Have you seen Our Home Before Photos from before we moved in (at the time of this Living Room Update post, 3+ years ago)?
Those photos show our house before we did any work on it.

The sofa set is from Article.com, Eric found this online furniture company when he was searching for furniture to match Mid-Century Modern homes like ours.

Article also has a love seat and an ottoman in the same style.
I am not sure where we would put the love seat but the ottoman would definitely fit in the living room.
We are so distracted with our kitchen renovation that the kitchen has really been the only thing on our minds lately.
I'm sure when that's done or almost done we can turn our attention to other parts of the house that need improvements.

Eventually we would like to add more art to the walls, although we do kinda like them sparse and uncluttered being minimalists an all 🙂

I posted a video of the wood stove in action on my Instagram here

This is a picture of one of the squid lamps lit up at night that I posted on Instagram.
Special Thanks to Eric's mom Linda and my parents for surprising us and visiting us the weekend the new sofa set was delivered.

Thank you for reading about our recent Living Room update, by no means do I feel like our living room is "done" but this is a good baseline to see how it looks until I do another update 🙂
