Hi Everyone, these melting snowman (or woman or kiddos!) sugar cookies are so fun to make for Christmas or all winter long when you are craving a fun cookie decorating project and a yummy, cookie treat.
Prepare the sugar cookie dough: Prepare the sugar cookie dough according to the instructions if using one of our recipes or if you use store-bought dough, cut 12 slices (or more or less, depending on the dough you get).
Make the royal icing: Prepare the Royal icing according to the instructions. If you want to save time, you can get store-bought white icing.
Decorate the sugar cookies: Make the snowman "puddle" using white royal icing. Use a food gel decorating pen to make a face on the marshmallow.
Add the marshmallow, in the middle of the "puddle."
Use the black gel to make the arms and buttons of the snowman.
Lastly, add the "scarf" around the "neck" of the snowman. Allow the cookies to dry on a wire cooling rack and enjoy!
