Hi Everyone, this Donut Christmas Tree is fun-to-make, easy, and only 4 ingredients (donut holes, pomegranate arils, rosemary and/or lavender sprigs, and confectioner’s sugar) and it makes a beautiful centerpiece for your tablescape as well as an edible treat when entertaining

Ingredients
- 80-90 donut holes approximately – we use 1 1/2 boxes (15 ounces/425 grams in each box) of Entenmann’s Pop’ems glazed donut holes
- Fresh lavender or rosemary sprigs, cleaned and pat dry
- 1/4 cup pomegranate arils, or amount to tastes
- 1/4 cup powdered (confectioners) sugar, or the amount desired
Kitchen Tools
- 90 toothpicks
- 1 small-medium plate
- 12-inch styrofoam cone (optionally, you can wrap the cone in plastic wrap, if you are concerned about pieces of cone coming off on the donuts)
- A lazy Susan – helpful but not required
How to Make a Donut Christmas Tree
Step 1
Put the donut holes on the styrofoam cone: Start at the base of your 12-inch styrofoam cone, and using toothpicks, place each toothpick halfway into the styrofoam, around the base and place a donut hole on each toothpick. Work your way around the cone, up to the very top, until the entire cone is covered. Make sure that all the donut holes are touching to prevent gaps and that the toothpicks are deep enough so that they do not pole through the donut holes.
Step 2
Decorate the Donut Christmas Tree: Place the rosemary and/or lavender sprigs evenly spaced in the voids between the donut holes. Place the pomegranate arils at the base and all over the donut tree. Lastly, sprinkle the entire donut tree with powdered sugar, like “snow.” Enjoy your donut Christmas tree!
