Spicy Greens Salad has a mix of organic spicy salad greens, Arugula, carrot ribbons, thinly sliced onions, Hakurei Turnips, a mix of garden herbs (like basil, mint, parsley, and cilantro) with a simple olive oil vinaigrette or your favorite salad dressing. Enjoy this fresh, green, seasonal salad for dinner or holidays!

Hi Everyone, do you belong to a local CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) share? This salad combines fresh, organic produce from my CSA box share from our local Roots to River farm CSA.
I love sharing what I get from the Farmer's Market (in years past) and from my Summer CSA shares to show you what you can make from all that fresh produce. This Spicy Greens Salad has lots of flavor in those greens and so many vitamins and nutrients. You can use it in sandwiches, wraps, pasta dishes and just as a salad itself.
This year (2020), my CSA shares are in boxes, something which has always existed but something that's become convenient during the Covid-19 pandemic. It's nice to know that it's indeed possible to get fresh produce during the pandemic in a safe way. This is a great option to get delicious, organic produce and avoid shopping at an indoor grocery store.
At my last (and first) CSA box pick up, I got the following:
This salad lasted for our family of 2 adults and 3 kids (the adults eat it mostly) for 3 days. That makes this salad a great option for meal prep. The servings amount I indicate in the recipe card really varies and it's just an estimate because the amounts are going to vary depending on the amount you get. This is a very forgiving recipe.
