Butterfly Pea Flower Milk Tea
Hi Everyone, this beautiful drink is delicious as it is pretty. It’s icy-cold, sweet and you can make it dairy or non-dairy if you prefer.
The blue color is natural and the powder is made from dried, ground-up blue butterfly pea flowers that are wild foraged in Thailand.
It is considered a superfood and is rich in antioxidants, flavinoids, and peptides.

Ingredients
Here are the ingredients to make this recipe:
*Makes 1 serving; if you want to make more, just 2x and 3x the recipe
- 1 cup (8 ounces) milk of choice (dairy or vegan milk)
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
- 1/2 teaspoon Butterfly Pea Flower Powder (blue matcha)
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 cup of ice cubes

How to Make Butterfly Pea Flower Milk Tea
It’s so easy to make on the stovetop.



- On the stovetop, over low-medium heat, add the milk, pea flower powder, honey or maple syrup, cinnamon, and ground nutmeg. Whisk to combine and allow to come to a simmer. Remove from heat.
- You can enjoy it hot or using a funnel, pour it into a container and then transfer it to the fridge, chill overnight.
- To serve, swish the container to stir it up and then fill a chilled glass with ice, and pour the milk tea over, add a straw and enjoy!
