Hi Everyone, a vegetable side recipe that is savory, delicious, and budget-friendly? Meet cabbage "steaks"!
They are filling, tasty, and satisfying, and go with so many different foods.
They are vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free!

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (204 degrees Celsius).

Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper, drizzle the parchment paper with olive oil, and set aside.

Slice the head of the cabbage into ¾-1-inch slices.

Wash the cabbage slices and pat them dry or use a salad spinner.

Make the Olive Oil Seasoning Mixture: In a small bowl, add ¼ cup of regular olive oil, 2 teaspoons of minced garlic, 1 teaspoon of kosher salt, and ¼ teaspoon of fresh ground black pepper and whisk together until mixed.

Place the prepared cabbage slices on the prepared, rimmed baking sheet.

Using a pastry brush, brush the cabbage slices evenly with the olive oil seasoning mixture on both sides.

Bake the cabbage slices in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until desired crispiness is reached and the cabbage is tender. Enjoy!
