Hi Everyone, guess what I made this past Valentine's Day for my husband?
These Chocolate Lava Cakes!
For some odd reason, I've always been afraid of making a "self-saucing" cake like this.
Well, guess what?
It was super easy and only took 8 required ingredients!
These Chocolate Lava Cakes are so good, decadent, and enjoyable, I'm kicking myself for not making them sooner!
It was so nice to feel fancy at home with this delicious homemade dessert.

The Chocolate Lava Cakes are delicious on their own but you can add toppings.
I sprinkled more confectioner's sugar on top when serving and then I added mint chocolate gelato to these Chocolate Lava Cakes but you can use vanilla ice cream.
I think lemon, raspberry or mango sorbet would be delicious too.
You can go even further and add fruit or berries too!

I love how these Chocolate Lava Cakes puff up when baking.

I have whole a list of helpful kitchen tools that I use for this recipe in the recipe card below.
I also link to some ingredients that I used for the recipe too.
