Hi Everyone, Tuna Melts are our family’s go-to lunch or snack when we need something satisfying to eat on short notice.
These Tuna Melts are completely homemade, making them hearty and filling.
Ingredients for Tuna Melts
- 1 recipe No-Knead Bread, 2 slices
- 1 recipe Tuna Salad Recipe
- 2-4 cheese slices (I recommend Swiss, Muenster, Shredded Mozzarella, cheddar varieties)
- Kosher salt, to taste
- fresh ground pepper, to taste

Tuna Melts
These Tuna Melts are perfect for a quick lunch or savory snack. It uses my Tuna Salad and No-Knead Bread recipes. (1-2 servings)
Ingredients
- 2 slices No-Knead Bread, search LLS "No-Knead Bread", you can also substitute regular sliced bread
- 1 recipe Tuna Salad Recipe, search LLS "Tuna Salad Recipe"
- 2-4 slices your favorite cheese, I recommend Swiss, Muenster, Shredded Mozzerella, cheddar varieties
- Kosher salt, to taste
- fresh ground pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Put the desired amount of Tuna Salad on top of the bread slices.
- Place 2-4 slices of your favorite cheese on top of the tuna salad.
- Toast in the toaster oven for a few minutes until cheese is melty or broil for a couple of minutes (keep an eye on the cheese so it does not burn!). Enjoy!
