Air Fryer Frozen Tater Tots
Air Fryer Frozen Tater Tots - Frozen tater tots come out so crispy and good when cooked in the air fryer. This recipe tutorial shows you how to make them in the air fryer - no additional oil is required!
Ingredients
- 1 bag (32 ounces/2 lbs./907 grams) frozen tater tots
- optional: ketchup or other sauce, for serving
- optional: chopped chives, green onion, or parsley, for garnish when serving
Instructions
- Line your air fryer tray or basket with tater tots being sure not to over-crowd. When they are over-crowded the cooking time takes longer. Air fry for 8 minutes at 400 degrees F (205 degrees C). When they are done, you can put them in again to make them crispier or have them as is. (We like them cooked for 16 minutes total).
- Optionally, you can sprinkle them with chopped chives, parsley, or scallions. Serve them with ketchup or your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy!
Notes
- For some air fryers, 5-8 minutes at a time may be best.
- No additional oil is needed for this recipe tutorial.
- We have found that you do not need to turn or shake the air fryer basket midway, however you can, if you feel that you need to, to ensure even cooking.
- Towards the end of the cooking time, keep an eye on them to ensure that they do not burn.
- we air fry 1/2 bag at a time, to space them out, so that they get crispier faster
