This DIY Finding Dory Tissue Box Cover Coloring Activity will keep your kiddo occupied over school break or anytime! Check out the new Kleenex® Finding Dory Tissue Box Designs I use with this activity.

Hi Friends! I have the perfect, little, relaxing, kids activity for you!
This week, my daughter is on school break and we needed an activity to do. My husband and I have this post-Christmas "walking flu/stomach thing" and we needed a low-key kids activity to keep our daughter occupied. Knock on wood, she is not sick and she has her regular amount of little kid/toddler energy. Meanwhile, Eric and I are clutching to the couch, our chicken broth and our Kleenex®!
I came up with this DIY Finding Dory Tissue Box Cover Coloring Activity which channeled her energy and she loved working on it together with me. She loves doing things together and coloring, I have to say, is very relaxing for an adult to do too!
This DIY Finding Dory Tissue Box Cover can be displayed in your child's room after you finish the activity making it a new way to display their artwork. Check out my full, step-by-step tutorial below!
In our house, we have a box of Kleenex® literally in every room. I have sensitive skin and Kleenex® is the only brand that doesn't make my nose raw which is the worst feeling!
I learned that Kleenex® will have Disney® Finding Dory designs for a limited time. My daughter knows all about Dory from Finding Dory, she loves that movie! So if you are a Finding Dory fan like we are, get yours!

? There is also a Fandango movie offer: Buy any Kleenex packaging, upload receipt and get free movie rental.

I found Kleenex® Tissue Box Designs and other Kleenex® products at BJ's Wholesale in the paper supply area.

Materials Needed:

Step-By-Step Tutorial:
#1 - Print your favorite picture of Dory or another character from Finding Dory. Place a blank sheet over it, tape both pieces to a well-lit window and using a pencil trace the image. Trace over the pencil drawing with a black, felt-tip pen. You can make 3 copies which will fit a large Kleenex® Tissue Box.
#2 - Color in the 3 copies or the 3 printed Dory printable that I made above. (Don't forget to size it correctly to fit the paper you have!)
#3 - Stack the papers together, facing up, using scissors, cut a wave (or other pattern) along the top edge.
#4 - Using a stapler (or tape), staple the papers so that the dory pictures are facing out. You can make the tissue box cover more loose or tight depending on how far from the edge of the paper you staple it.
#5 - Place your new tissue box cover over the Kleenex® Finding Dory Tissue Box Designs box and display in your child's room or around the house!

What’s your favorite vacation activity? Let me know in the comments below! Best, ~Sara
