Hi Everyone, have you ever tried to make oat milk at home? It's easier than you think!
The great thing is that you can control what ingredients are in it, if you want it sweet or not. There are no additives or preservatives like store-bought oat milk.
The one thing to remember about homemade oat milk is that it doesn't froth like store-bought oat milk.
This recipe, as is, with or without the optional ingredients, does not froth. It can get a little bubbly but it doesn't froth like traditional dairy milk, if you want, for example, to make a latte recipe.
To make frothy homemade oat milk, you would need to blend in other types of non-dairy milk(s) that do froth.
It lasts up to 5 days in the refrigerator, stored properly, in an air-tight container. (It gets used up much quicker in our household though, lol!)
