As quoted from the bMAKER dried “Rosemary” package:

This Rosemary Soap makes a great holiday or birthday gift; use it as a guest soap or a “treat-yourself” spa soap. Give this fun and easy DIY soap recipe a try today!
Materials
- 2 pounds bMAKER Shea butter or goats milk soap base
- 1-2 tablespoons dried rosemary (from bMAKER)
- 5-10 drops rose or other essential oil
Tools
- cutting board
- chef’s knife
- double boiler or a medium saucepan with a metal bowl
- wooden spoon for stirring
- measuring spoons and cups
- silicone soap molds
- rimmed sheet pan
Instructions
- Gather the ingredients for this tutorial. Put the silicone mold(s) on a rimmed baking sheet for ease of movement and set aside.
- In a medium saucepan (or double boiler), add about 1 inch of water, put a metal bowl to sit on top. Bring the water to a boil, then reduce to a simmer.
- While you bring the water to a boil, cut the soap base in squares.
- Add the squares to the bowl of the double boiler. Melt the soap base squares completely, occasionally stirring with a wooden spoon.
- When the soap base is completely melted, add the dried rosemary and optional rose or other essential oil. Stir to combine.
- Carefully pour the liquid soap mixture into the soap molds.
- Allow the soap to harden at room temperature or place in the refrigerator to harden at a faster rate. When the soap is completely hardened then remove the soap from the silicone molds. Enjoy!

Why are you recommending botanicals/herbs to use in melt and pour base soaps, they rot, go brown and mold. This is very unsafe to use.
Let me be clear, people can do whatever they want, no one is forcing them to make soap. Using dried flowers is common in soap making and it’s a decorative element to make with soap. If it does turn brown, I do recommend throwing it away to err on the side of caution.
