Hi Everyone, are you looking for a healthy appetizer or snack option that you can make right in your air fryer?
Try these Air Fryer Sweet Potato Fries!
There are no preservatives or additives and you can customize them any way you want.
We make these Air Fryer Sweet Potato Fries, on a weekly or at least monthly basis in our home.
Ingredients
- 3 medium sweet potatoes, washed, peeled, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
- 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
- 1/4 fresh ground black pepper, plus more for serving
- 1 Canola oil or same amount olive oil (regular)
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder *optional
- 1/4 smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon cumin
- Optional toppings: chopped fresh herbs (like Italian parsley), cheese, ketchup, your favorite sauces
- *this recipe can be made with just sweet potatoes, salt, pepper and Canola/olive oil, as well – if you want to keep it simple!

Air Fryer Sweet Potato Fries
This Air Fryer Sweet Potato Fries have only 7 required ingredients or less and are so easy to make in one of our favorite kitchen appliances, the air fryer. These sweet potato fries are savory, healthy, and can be easily customized.
Ingredients
- 3 medium sweet potatoes, washed, peeled, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
- 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
- 1/4 fresh ground black pepper, plus more for serving
- 1 tablespoon Canola oil or same amount olive oil (regular)
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder *optional
- 1/4 smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon cumin
- Optional toppings: chopped fresh herbs (like Italian parsley), cheese, ketchup, your favorite sauces
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, add prepared sweet potatoes, sprinkle the seasonings and Canola oil (or same amount olive oil, regular) over them, and mix until the potatoes are fully coated.
- Turn the air fryer to 400 degrees F. Add the potatoes into the Air Fryer basket and set them to 30 minutes. Halfway through cooking toss the potatoes so that they cook evenly. The time may vary between different air fryers, make sure to check the potatoes when they are close to being done.
- Serve with optional chopped herbs, more salt, and pepper (amount to taste), Enjoy!
