Lavender Mint Water
Hi Everyone, it is Summer, even though, at the time of my writing this, Labor Day is upon us and I am determined to extend Summer as long as I can with this Lavender Mint Water. (FYI, Saturday, September 22nd is the first day of Fall.)
Are you on the “Summer Water” band wagon?
I am all about staying hydrated in those hot, humid summer months that we’ve had in New Jersey.
I feel like this Summer has been particularly hot for us and that spawned a whole host of inspired drink recipes for the blog.
Ingredients
- fresh or dried lavender (food grade)
- fresh mint or dried
- filtered water or Spring water
- ice cubes, for serving
- lavender springs for garnishing, optional
- mint leaves and sprigs, for garnishing, optional

- ice cube trays for making ice
- measuring spoons and cups
- glasses for serving

Tips for Lavender Mint Water
- make sure to not add more than the required amount of lavender so that the taste does not become too “herby,” if it does come out too herby, then just dilute with more water.

Lavender Mint Water
Lavender Mint Water is a Summer, spa water recipe that you can make passively by cold brewing in the refrigerator overnight. vegan, gluten free
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons fresh lavender, or 2 teaspoons dried lavender
- 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, or 1 tablespoon dried mint
- 8 cups filtered or spring water
- ice cubes, for serving
Instructions
- Pour water into a beverage dispenser or large pitcher. Add the mint leaves and a mesh tea diffuser filled with the dried lavender. Allow to steep overnight in the refrigerator 8 hours or overnight.
- You can serve with fresh lavender and/or mint sprigs and ice. Enjoy!
