Dragonfruit Soda
Hi Everyone, this homemade Dragonfruit Soda is beautiful as it is tasty.
Dragonfruit tastes most similar to pear and kiwi, and when it’s light, the sweet taste is paired with seltzer water, and you have something refreshing and special – not to mention a drink that is easy on the eyes!
This recipe can easily be made into a cocktail if you wish, or even a frozen cocktail or mocktail with the help of your blender!
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup homemade dragonfruit simple syrup
- 3/4 cup seltzer water, or more, amount to taste
- 1/2-1 cup ice cubes
- honey or preferred sweetener, for the rim of the glass
- dragonfruit powder, for the rim, amount to taste
Kitchen Tools
- 2-cup wet measure
- measuring spoons and cups
- tall glass
- ice maker
- straw
- cocktail spoon or long spoon
How to Make Dragonfruit Soda
Step 1
Chill a glass for 5-10 minutes in the refrigerator. This is not required but it looks beautiful: Rim the glass with honey and then dragonfruit powder before constructing the drink.
Step 2
Once the glass is chilled, add 1/4 homemade dragonfruit simple syrup, and ice, and finish it off with seltzer water; adjust flavors as needed, mix, and enjoy!
