Hi Everyone, It's April, and it is also Lilac blossom season here in New Jersey and I am rejoicing because Lilacs are one of my favorite flowers because of their heavenly scent - did you know that the flowers are edible?
The season for Lilac flowers is short, just about 2 weeks, and then they are gone!
I want to share ways of preserving them to further appreciate how special they are and one of those ways is this Lilac Flower Honey!

I'm originally from New England and there's a tradition to plant a Lilac tree close to your back door.
I would love to plant another Lilac tree in our yard near our back door to have that tradition here in NJ.
