Sweet Saturday #6 - 11-11-2017 - Time to take a break from recipes and catch up. #LLSSweetSaturday
Estimated reading time: 3 minutes

Hi Everyone, how's your weekend going? Ours is a good mix of food, friends, and family.
Did you catch the last Sweet Saturday post?
You can read it here.
Ever since Daylight Savings last week, I feel like I have been dragging myself through the week, anyone else feels that way?
Above is a preview of an Easy Pecan Pie recipe coming up on the blog this week, stay tuned for that recipe and many more holiday-themed recipes right up until Christmas 🙂
#1 - Stranger Things: We finished watching Season 2 of Stranger Things and LOVED it.
I wrote about it in my last Sweet Saturday post and it took us a couple of weeks to get through all the episodes as we juggled bedtimes with 2 kids 🙂
We also started watching the special
#2 - Silicon Valley: I heard about this show but never watched it until 1-2 weeks ago.
We are already into the beginning of season 3 and enjoying it.
The dialogue is really good and I love how it's a commentary on current times.
It's nice to find a comedy series (on HBO Go) that both Eric and I can watch together.
This show is so funny that it is fast becoming one of my favorites, up there with Game of Thrones and Stranger Things.
#3 - Thanksgiving & Friendsgiving: We had a Friendsgiving gathering that we went to this weekend and I have a feeling that it's going to inspire a Friendsgiving post soon, so stay tuned for that.
For Thanksgiving, we are going to have it here at our house since we have a functional kitchen after renovating it for months.
It will actually be my first time hosting Thanksgiving - we usually go to PA to spend it with Eric's side of the family in a huge family gathering.
I will be documenting it on the blog by posting my Thanksgiving Menu - so excited for this which means I will be practicing every chance I get.
This Thanksgiving will be more intimate and the first with our family as a family of four <3
