Why would you make a comment about it being a culprit for allergy sufferers? It isn’t goldenrod that is wreaking havoc on their sinuses, it’s the ragweed that’s in bloom at the same time!! Goldenrod is too heavy to carry through the air, but ragweed is not…goldenrod gets a bad rap just because it blooms at the same time.

I took out the sentence in my post that I think may have offended you. Goldenrod does have pollen. I am someone that has an allergy to pollen of any kind, among several other allergies that I cope with. I am just talking about my experience with having severe allergies. I supposed there are people that have more selective allergies. The point of this post is to highlight that goldenrod is very helpful to people who suffer from allergies. I also want to highlight that there are people that think that goldenrod is bad but it actually is a very helpful plant to many and this is one way that I personally use and enjoy it. I hope that clarifies things for you. Have a peaceful day.
