- Optional: 1 teaspoon Oyster sauce or substitute for vegan Worcestershire sauce
Optional Toppings
- green onions (scallions)

Instructions
- Press the Tofu: Press your extra firm tofu for 15-30 minutes (you can use a tofu press) or by sandwiching it between 2 plates with paper towels.
- Cut the pressed tofu into bite-size squares.
- Marinate: In a medium bowl, add all the ingredients and whisk to combine. Add the cut up tofu and stir to coat. Allow it to marinate for 15 minutes.
- Cook in the Air Fryer: Heat the Air Fryer to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Add the tofu in a single layer and make sure that the squares are not touching. Cook the tofu for 10-15 minutes, checking halfway to shake the basket to ensure even baking and you may have to cook the remaining tofu in batches depending on how large your Air Fryer basket is. If you want the tofu to be crispier, you can add 2-3 minutes at a time, making sure to check, so that it doesn't burn. Serve with steamed rice or by itself, enjoy!
