FoodieMamas 2015 and 2016 Recipe Roundup
It all started with Pumpkin Spice Bread…that’s when I started participating in the FoodieMamas recipe roundups – it’s been 15 months of recipe roundup posts! That’s getting close to a year and a half, so I think it’s time to go over all the posts published.
But first for those who are not familiar, who are the FoodieMamas?
Kaitie Lawlor of Fuchsia Freezer is the creator the FoodieMamas monthly recipe roundup. A “FoodieMama” is a mom blogger who is also a passionate foodie and there’s a group of us!
Every month, each “FoodieMama” picks an ingredient and we all make recipes with that ingredient theme and we share each other’s recipes. Some months, we do a round up around a theme, for example, “10 Holiday Desserts” from last month.
Personally, I love this collection of recipes, it’s a good cross-section to see the photography progression, to see how far I’ve come (and still need to go!). It was so wonderful developing these recipes too, so much yumminess here!
I have included a quote from each recipe post in the opening description of the recipe in the list. Enjoy the roundup of the roundups!
2015 FoodieMamas Recipes
#1 – Pumpkin Spice Bread

Strawberry Banana Caramel Frozen Yogurt has only 4 ingredients, uses a base of frozen bananas & strawberry Greek yogurt with fresh diced strawberries and a ribbon of my Easy Caramel (Dulce de Leche) recipe and here’s a bonus: it does not require the use of an ice cream maker! 2016 FoodieMamas Recipes
#4 – Couscous Fritters
